Road Crash

A forward roll through heavy traffic

Road Crash is a lane-switching driver where your car rolls forward on its own down a multi-lane road packed with other vehicles. The road keeps changing as new cars drift in and gaps open or close, so the only thing you actually steer is which lane your car sits in.

Reach the finish without a scratch

Survive the required distance and hit the finish or score target without touching another car. A single collision ends the run or costs you progress, so every gap you take has to stay open until you are through it.

Steer sideways, nothing else

Move left and right with the arrow keys or A and D, or drag a finger sideways on a touchscreen — the exact input is shown when the run starts. Your forward speed runs by itself; you only manage your sideways position between lanes.

Look two cars ahead

Do not react to the vehicle right in front of you — read two or three cars up the road instead. Slide into the lane you will need a moment early, then ease back toward a centre lane when the traffic thins out.

Commit to one clean sweep

Make each lane change in a single smooth sweep instead of creeping sideways in small taps. A half-changed car sits straddling two lanes, and that is exactly where a vehicle from either side clips you first.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if I touch another car?

A single collision ends the run or costs you progress. Every gap you take has to stay open until you are through it, so reach the finish or score target without touching another vehicle.

How do I avoid collisions in heavy traffic?

Look two or three cars ahead instead of reacting to the one right in front of you. Slide into the lane you will need a moment early, and make each lane change in one smooth sweep so you never sit straddling two lanes.
