You against one opponent, hoop to hoop
Basket Battle is a head-to-head basketball game. You and an opponent share the court and the clock, taking turns to shoot for the basket, and every basket counts toward the final score. The match runs on a timer, and power-up buttons sit on the match screen to give you an edge.
02 / THE GOAL
Outscore the opponent before time runs out
Win the match by finishing with more points than the opponent when the clock stops. The game ends with a win screen when you are ahead and a lose screen when you are not, so every possession matters.
03 / HOW TO CONTROL
Drag to aim, release to shoot
Drag with the mouse, or swipe with a finger on a touch screen, to aim the ball. The shot fires when you release, so you can adjust the angle as long as you keep the drag held. The match screen also shows a timer and buttons for the power-ups.
04 / GETTING STARTED
Learn the release on your first shots
Spend the opening possessions getting the feel of the aim drag. Keep the release calm and check the arc against the rim before committing, because a rushed throw is the easiest way to hand the momentum to the opponent.
PRO TIP
Use the power-ups at the right moment
Stun and shield change the pace of the duel, and ten balls gives you extra chances in one go, so save them for the part of the match where the score is tight. Earned currency can also be spent in the shop on new balls and characters.
