Agent J

A room to clear, one scene at a time

Agent J is a compact action game played scene by scene. Each screen is a small room with opponents, cover and a goal — you aim, move, or pick an action to clear the threats in front of you and get through to the next position.

Clear each room and reach the exit

Remove the active threats in every scene and reach its safe end state. There is no long campaign to manage at once — each scene has to be cleared before the next one opens, and a scene left with an active shooter stays unfinished.

Aim and fire, or act by scene

The input shifts with the scene — usually mouse aim and a click to fire or act, with drawing or touch gestures when the player shows them. Check the on-screen cue at the start of each scene, since a later room can switch what your input does.

Count the threats before you move

On the first frame, count the opponents and note the exits. Knowing how many threats there are tells you when the room is nearly clear — once only the exit-side target remains, you can advance instead of hunting for a straggler.

Use cover to isolate one target

Angle yourself so a wall or crate sits between you and every threat except the one you are about to drop. That turns a whole-room fight into a one-on-one exchange, so you stop taking fire from enemies you are not even aiming at.
