01 / WHAT IT IS
A rope is your only tool
Ropeman 3D is a three-dimensional action-puzzle where a figure fires a rope from one spot to another. Each level drops you into a small 3D stage of ledges, targets and moving pieces, and the rope is the one tool you have to reach, drag or bind them, so every attempt comes down to where you aim and when you throw.
02 / THE GOAL
Hit the hold, complete the scene
Use the rope to finish the level's target — pull an object into place, drag yourself across a gap, or snare a moving piece. A throw that lands on nothing, or on a spot the level rejects, simply wastes the attempt and sends you back for another shot.
03 / HOW TO CONTROL
Aim first, then fire
Move the crosshair with the mouse, or drag a finger across the screen, to line up the shot. Click, tap or release to throw the rope, which travels to wherever you aimed — so settle the aim before firing instead of flicking it at the last second.
04 / GETTING STARTED
Find the anchor before you throw
On a new level, hold off on the first throw. Look for the hold the scene wants you to hit — usually a glowing or clearly marked point — and wait until the path between you and it is clear before the rope goes out.
PRO TIP
Throw on the pause, not the swing
Moving targets usually slow or hold at each end of their sweep. Fire in that beat and the rope arrives exactly where you aimed, instead of trailing behind a piece that is still travelling.
