Boat Hitting Out

A launch-and-rebound arena challenge

Boat Hitting Out drops a boat into a water arena where every shot is about aim and momentum. You set a direction and a push, release the boat, and watch it slide and bounce off the walls while it lines up to strike the targets scattered around the play space.

Strike the targets and stay in bounds

Each level gives you a set of targets to knock out before the boat runs out of playable room. Hitting a target clears it and often sets up a new angle for the next one, but letting the boat slip out of the safe area ends the run early, so power has to serve aim rather than the other way around.

Drag to aim, release to launch

You set the shot by dragging or swiping from the boat: the direction sets the course and the length of the drag sets how hard it goes. Release to launch, then the boat travels on its own momentum while you watch the rebounds do the rest. On a touch screen the same gesture works with a finger.

Read the first bounce before adding power

Start the level by looking at where the targets sit and which walls are close behind them. Take a gentle first launch and watch where the boat ends up after one or two bounces — that shows you the real angles of the arena, and a soft shot is easy to correct while a full-power one commits you instantly.

Let the walls do the aiming

Instead of forcing the boat straight at a target, aim for a wall that will send it back at the right angle. Bank shots cost less power and leave the boat in the middle of the arena, where you still have a follow-up — a direct hit at full force often carries the boat straight past the target and out.

Frequently asked questions

How do I launch the boat?

Drag or swipe from the boat to set the direction and force, then release to launch. The direction sets the course and the length of the drag sets how hard it goes.

What ends a run?

Letting the boat slip out of the safe area ends the run early, so power has to serve aim rather than the other way around.

What is the best way to hit a hard target?

Aim for a wall that will send the boat back at the right angle. Bank shots cost less power and leave the boat in the middle of the arena for a follow-up.
