Idle Bear Island is a 3D idle tycoon set on a snowy island. Bears and penguins move around the island running services, and visitors arrive with requests. The numbers keep moving in the background, so the real decisions are where to spend your coins and what to unlock next.
02 / THE GOAL
Grow the island, one unlock at a time
Grow your income by attracting more visitors, upgrading services and buildings, hiring employees, and completing tasks and achievements. Progress unlocks new decorations and whole new islands, and each unlock makes the island busier and more profitable.
03 / HOW TO CONTROL
Tap, drag, and pinch
Tap or click to interact: tap promo leaflets to bring in visitors, tap coins to collect them, and open upgrade and unlock popups with a tap. Drag with the mouse or a finger to move the camera, and pinch to zoom in and out on the island.
04 / GETTING STARTED
Follow the guide hand
The tutorial uses a guide hand to point at the first things to tap. Start by tapping the promo leaflets to attract visitors, collect the coins they bring, then spend on the first service upgrade.
PRO TIP
Reinvest into the bottleneck
Upgrades and unlocks are the growth loop, so spend on the service that is currently limiting visitor flow. Keep an eye on the task and achievement popups for bonus goals, and let idle income pile up while you are away.
